Blue Water Pizza @ Warners Bay

A few weeks ago hubby and I were out and about and decided to drop into Warners Bay for lunch. With a few cafes and restuarants to choose from we thaught we would go where we knew. It wasn't as we had remembered. The food was only average. The staff were ok but a few more smiles could have been passed around.

As usual when we go to a pub, hubby wanted Sausages, chips and gravy.
It was the special of the day!!!Yuk!!!
The sausages tasted like they were ready to be thrown out!!
The chips were frozen chips that were just heated.
The gravy....... definitely Gravox!!!!
He couldn't stomach it!!
Over the Verandah into the beer garden it went and even the birds didn't rush in!!!
I tried the Prawn cutlets. Bit into the first one, it was still half frozen.
Little to say, we got out of there very fast.
The staff weren't very friendly at all.
The amenities were filthy!!!!

I wouldn't waste my time or money to stop unless you want a quick Beer!!!!

Well what can I say!!!
We went there for Mother's Day.
There were 11 of us.
It was a set menu with a choice of 2 entrees
3 main courses and 2 desserts.
Plus a choice of 2 kids meals.
With the choice of entree the prawns were still frozen,
the piece of tomato it sat on looked old and frozen.
Not very nice at all!!
Main course was awful! There was one decent dish from the choice.
The other 2 well...... the meat was way under cooked and the fish not much to say.
Hubby made the right choice to have chips with his main instead of the vegies.
Looking across the table at the kids fish and chips was very enticing!!!!
Wish we were all under 12!!!!
The dessert was about the best thing we had to eat plus the kids Ice Cream and Flavouring
went down well!!!!!
The view was great and there was a band playing, which was a bit loud at times but it took
your focus off the meal!!
The amenities were not very clean at all!!!!

So if you want to risk the Bistro at any time it might be ok, but I wouldn't advise Mother's Day
to anyone!!!! Was not value for money!!!

The Neath Hotel is an old pub which has kept its heritage alive.
The publicans are very friendly and the food is great.
I can't say enough about the staff
They are friendly, talkative and polite.
The food is great, at great prices and is very good value for money.
They have a menu plus specials of the day.
Whenever we go to a pub hubby always wants Sausages, chips and gravy.
He couldn't complain this time. The sausages were nice (he wants to ask who their Butcher is next time we go), The chips were good, not greasy but good pub chips and the gravy was real(no gravox)!!!
They have a great kids menu as well, which I must say went down very quickly and are reasonably priced.
The main meals are worth every bite.
There were 15 of us when we went and not one complaint from anyone and we had a wide variety of meals.
Desserts were lovely, worth every bite.
The ammenities are very clean and tidy even for the age.

So if you are ever near Neath I suggest that you try it for lunch.
You won't regret it!!!!!
